Player Registration Guidelines

Pondicherry Cue Sports Association has conceptualized the Registration of Players. This registration will allow PCSA, the apex body of Cue Sports in Puducherry to support its Players and to uphold the interest of the host clubs/gymkhanas/companies. This registration will aid in maintaining decorum among its fraternity, make all responsible & also accountable

Registration:

  • The annual registration fee is Rs. 1500/-.
  • Validity from April 1st to the March 31st.
  • A Player can register at any time of the year but its validity will end on the following March 31st.
  • Life Members of PCSA also have to register by paying the annual fee in order to participate.
  • Only a Player of 60 years of age or more is exempted from the fee but needs to register in order to be eligible to participate in every tournament that is conducted under the aegis of PCSA.

Registration Implications:

  • Upon registration as a Player, he/she is permitted to participate in every PCSA tournament in that financial year (by paying the mandatory entry fee).
  • Any registered player is free to play any tournament, otherwise. However, Players registered with PCSA will not be allowed to play in any event/ tournament which are specifically organized by professionally managed entities such as event management companies/ PR agencies/ whose sole objective is to make money under the garb of sports promotion.
  • A registered player flouting the guidelines laid down by PCSA will not be permitted to play in any tournament till further notice.
  • A Player who disregards PCSA’s guidelines can/may be debarred from participating in any/every event/s under its auspices.

Registration Process:

  • The registration form is available online; needs to be duly filled, signed & submitted.
  • This form must be sent as a hardcopy (scan or photo copies via email or whatsapp is invalid).
  • This form can be hand delivered or sent by courier.
  • Upon receipt of the said payment, PCSA will update its online Players list for easy reference.

Registration Payment:

  • Registration fee to be paid via cheque only.

Tournaments under the aegis of PCSA:

  1. Pondicherry Billiards League
  2. Pondicherry Snooker League
  3. Cue Sports League (Billiards & Snooker Premier League)
  4. Any Open or Invitation or Handicap or Weekender Tournaments

State Selection & Championship will be played as per the Puducherry Domicile Guidelines.

In the interest of our sport, PCSA reserves the right to review or revise or include or exclude guidelines as & when necessary.
