Guidelines to Host a Tournament
Procedure to apply for a tournament:
- Host club must ensure that all its dues to PCSA are clear (paid to date).
- An email from the host club giving details of the proposed:
- Dates
- Format (Open or Invitation or Handicap or a combination)
- Prize Money
- Sponsors details (if any)
- Entry Fee
- Upon receipt of the email; PCSA will review the above information and revert on the above pointers along with the Capitation Fee.
- Upon agreement of the above details and after receiving the Capitation Fee by cheque; PCSA will then formalise the same by blocking the dates & upload the necessary information on its website.
- And in order for the said tournament to be conducted under the aegis of PCSA, its stipulated Regulations must be followed.
Regulations of PCSA:
- The Tournament must follow/fulfil each & every Resolution/Guideline of PCSA.
- The Tournament Committee must include a minimum of two PCSA MC members. Preferably one of them should be an office bearer.
- Only PCSA Registered Players will be allowed to participate in its events.
- Only PCSA Registered Referees will be allowed to officiate in its events.
In case of Wild Cards or Direct Entries, it is advised that the Host should inform. PCSA on the same before making commitments to players. As per the Regulations of PCSA, it is mandatory for
- the Host to incorporate Pondicherry No 1 & 2 (Seniors & Juniors) of that discipline in the tournament.
- There are a couple of more (minuted) regulations & will be shared when applicable.
